Amenities, Standout Features, & Quirks:
Oak Hill Farm has several things that set it apart from other neighborhoods in Calvert County. It’s one of a very few in all of Calvert to have a sidewalk. While the neighborhood sidewalk terminates just after the neighborhood, on either side it wouldn’t be difficult for it to be extended in the future to connect with the St Leonard post office sidewalk to the north, or the sidewalk at the Saint Leonard Town Center to the south.
As you probably guessed from the note above, you can walk to the Saint Leonard Town Center in less than five minutes. The Town Center has many local businesses including a candy shop, local market, liquor stores, gas station, antique store, and more!
For the last several years about half the community has participated in an International Night. Each house picks a country to represent and then prepares a beverage and snack that are native to that country. People stay at each house for about 30 minutes before going to the next house.
Schools:
St. Leonard Elementary, Calvert Middle, Calvert High
